 a b o u t . t h e . i m m o r t a l . p r o j e c t The Immortal Project began with a crazy thought that Baka Mandy had. What would happen if you stuck a bunch of immortal bishies in the same house? o-o Then throw an amateur Demon Hunter in? And then eventually a plot? Thus the idea of the Immortal Project bloomed (back then it was called 'The Immortal Hangout'). Next Baka Mandy contacted a few friends and told them about the idea. They all infact liked it and wanted to take part. So Mandy gave a character to create for each of her friends. She also contacted some other people on DeviantART to see if they were interested in participating in the project. Each character was a different 'Immortal' being- a vampire, a werewolf, a cursed youth that would never die or age, a harpy, a cat person, and lastly a demon hunter, to give it a twist. Later on, Baka Mandy decided that she couldn't write the whole story herself, and thus divided it farthermore so that every chapter was written by one of the 'character creators'. Just a little note: Immortal Project is something only DeviantART members can participate in. a b o u t . i m m o r t a l . b e i n g s Vampire: Sharp nails, super human strength, speedy. Cannot go into daylight. Cannot go a week without at least 2 meals of blood. Cannot touch anything blessed. Cannot be pierced by anything sharp and wooden through the heart. Allergic to garlic. Harpy blood is poisonous to them. Werewolf: Super human strength, speedy. Cannot be pieced with anything silver through the heart. Allergic to silver. Note: werewolves are protectors of Vampire. Only changes to werewolf form on a full moon (other then that they look like regular humans). Cat Person: Super speed, flexibility and reflexes. Cannot be pierced by bronze through the heart. Note: only changes into a cat person on a new moon. They like shiny things. Harpy: Ability to fly, super speed, reflexes, psychic . Vampire bite can be deadly (effected area of a vampire bite will heal very slowly). Vampires and Harpies are originally enemies, but in this case they’re not ^-~. Cursed Youth: A curse was placed upon him so that he can never die or be killed, so he has to watch everyone he loves die before him while he never ages. He has the same strenght as a normal humans, nothing really special. Except when adrenaline pumps through his veins he turns into a monster with twice the strenght of his normal body. s t o r y . u p d a t e s 1) Each chapter is written by a different person (who is the creator of one of the main characters.). 2) The story is updated twice every month (every other week). 3) Rotation of Authors: Mandy => Donna => Megan => Reenee => Anna => [ ] => Mandy… etc. c o n t a c t Due to the fact, that I (Mandy) don't know if the creators want their emails displayed here, I am simply going to say this: if you have a DeviantART account, just send a note to any one of them (their DA accounts are linked on the side). If you want to give a suggestion, just note Mandy-chan too. b e c o m e . p a r t . o f . t h e . p r o j e c t To adopt a Character, firstly, look at home to see if there are any characters available. Secondly, you must have a DeviantART account to participate. Third, send a note to Mandy-chan to apply with the following information and something that you wrote (it doesn't matter what. A chapter from one of the fanfictions you wrote, a english essay from school, just a sample of your writing skills. And please be honest, don't steal other people's work): Name: (first, middle, last) Nationality: (country of birth) Age: (pretty much straight forward. If it is an Immortal character, give an estimated age) Gender: (will already be decided for you) Hair Colour: (straight forward) Eye Colour: (also straight forward) Personality: ( his/her behavior) Others: (things like favorite phrases, songs he/she likes to sing, likes, dislikes, etc.) Note (1): A person who adopts a 'non-main character' will not help write the story. They will have merely contributed to the project, and will be listed on the side. Note (2): You only have to include a sample piece of writing if you are applying to adopt a main character. Note (3): Just a little notice, if you take part in the writing of the story you might be expected to write lemons or stuff like that. But that's kinda obvious... this is a yaoi story after all. xD Note (4): Just because you applied DOESN'T mean your automaticly in the project. There will be a vote to see weither you are in or not.
